Currently in his third term, Senator Rubio is one of the most effective and influential legislators in Washington, D.C. The former Chairman of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, Senator Rubio kept millions of small businesses afloat during the pandemic lockdowns through the historic Paycheck Protection Program, expanded the child tax credit for working families, and is leading efforts to strengthen America’s national security at home and abroad. The Center for Effective Lawmaking ranked Rubio as the most effective Republican and the Lugar Center ranked him as one of the most bipartisan senators.

PA Chamber members are the first to know that U.S. Department of Energy Secretary Jennifer M. Granholm will speak at the 40th PA Chamber Annual Dinner at the Hershey Lodge on Monday, October 7, 2024!
Secretary Granholm will highlight Pennsylvania’s diverse energy assets and their role in building a secure, more dynamic, energy-efficient future in the global economy during remarks and Q&A at the dinner.
Secretary Granholm was sworn in as the 16th Secretary of Energy on February 25, 2021. She is leading DOE’s work to advance cutting-edge, diverse energy technologies. She also oversees DOE’s core missions of promoting American leadership in scientific discovery, maintaining the nuclear deterrent and reducing nuclear danger, and remediating environmental harms.
Prior to her nomination as Secretary of Energy, Jennifer M. Granholm was elected Governor of Michigan, serving two terms from 2003 to 2011. After two terms as governor, Jennifer M. Granholm joined the faculty of the University of California, Berkeley as a Distinguished Professor of Practice in the Goldman School of Public Policy, focusing on the intersection of law, clean energy, manufacturing, policy, and industry.
